Here is my take on Final Fantasy 7 character, Barrett.
When I was younger all my friends and cousin was heavily into Final Fantasy 7 where as I was more into action games such as Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter. Back then I never gave it a chance and dismissed it. So recently I blew the dust off my PSP and installed Final Fantasy 7 to see what all the fuss was about. I'm only four hours into the game but I'm really enjoying it. After a while you come accustomed to the dated graphics and it becomes charm. The character models used in combat are a little more detailed and have character to them.
Not that there is anything wrong with the music in games nowadays but I noticed something this game has that most don't today. Familiar catchy music for certain situations or areas. Think back to Street fighter, Super Mario or Tetris and you can instantly remember the music.
So why did I draw Barrett and not Cloud? Because after playing it I consider Barrett my personal badass of the gaming world of 2013!

As for your choice in characters...I'm sure it'll change b4 you reach the end - My personal fave is Tifa....and in my non guy response I would go with Cid as the badass of the game -
